Carol of Lights

Begin your holiday at the Carol of Lights at the Town Square Gazebo.  See Mayor William D. Tate light the beautiful Grapevine Christmas tree and the illumination of thousands of colorful lights!  A flip of a switch transforms Historic Downtown Grapevine into the Christmas Capital of Texas.   Guests will enjoy musical performances, and hot chocolate will be available.

Light Show Spectacular

November 21 – January 8, 6 p.m. – 11 p.m.
49 Nights of Twinkling Lights – Put some sparkle in the season at the Light Show Spectacular.  This nightly, 25-minute, synchronized, light display runs on the hour and half-hour. The Light Show Spectacular features a singing Christmas tree, festive holiday lights in a variety of seasonal colors and a musical backdrop of Christmas favorites. The Light Show Spectacular is one of the most anticipated and popular Grapevine events of the season. Free.

Step back in time this holiday at Christmas on Main! See Victorian-style buildings dressed up with ribbons, bows and wreaths and set aglow with twinkling lights. See jolly Christmas characters including Santa on stilts, play reindeer games, experience the glass workshop at Vetro Glassblowing Studio, enjoy tractor-drawn wagon rides ($1 per person, per ride) and spot beautiful decorations adorning Historic Downtown Grapevine’s Main Street.

For the 12th year, Vetro Glass Blowing Studio presents Glass on the Tracks featuring Indie rock band Leo Goes Grr, all-inclusive food and wine/beer catered by Chill, guest artist flameworker Christian Luginger, Boxcar Gallery of fine art glass to be auctioned, Truth or Consequences auction with the infamous Glass Guillotine and live glassblowing in the studio all evening. Fourth Annual Candlelight Tour of Homes

This tour covers six blocks and is designed as a walking tour. Luminaries will mark each destination home. Homeowners will be present to greet all participants and discuss the distinguishing characteristics of their residences. Some of the stops include the ca. 1900 Millican House located at 603 E. Worth St. and Bermuda Gold & Silver at 404 S. Main St., formerly Grapevine Home Bank, known for having been robbed by members of Bonnie and Clyde’s gang.

Enter to win free prizes, give-aways and contest, just for shopping in Grapevine!  All you have to do is SHOP at any participating Grapevine businesses along the DFW Connector zone, STAMP your card at each visit and REPEAT until you’ve completed the card and trade it in for another one.

Each completed card will be entered into a monthly drawing held by the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce.  To enter, simply leave your completed card where you receive the 10th stamp and pick up a new card.  Winners will be notified by email or phone.
