Blessing of the Vines and New Vintage Wine and Gallery Trail

Enjoy an abundance of fun-filled activities at the ceremonial Blessing of the Vines and the New Vintage Wine and Gallery Trail.  Head to Delaney Vineyards for Blessing of the Vines, a 400-year old custom to ensure robust vines and savory grapes. Admission is free. After the Blessing of the Vines, join the New Vintage Wine & Gallery Trail.  Visit each of Grapevine’s wineries and sample the new vintage releases. Enjoy live entertainment and food at each winery. Cost is $49 per person.

Held the first Saturday of each month in the parking lot next to the Uncle Bucks Brewery & Steakhouse.  Spectators are welcome and competitors receive awesome door prizes and a dash plaque for the first 50 entries.

April is the perfect month to ride the rails. On Sunday, April 8, bring some bunny special to meet the Easter Bunny aboard the Grapevine Vintage Railroad. Pose for pictures with the Easter Bunny too! This one hour fun run departs the Cotton Belt Depot at 3 p.m.

Experience Day Out with Thomas™, April 13, 14, 15, 20, 21 and 22. This family event offers aspiring engineers and their families the unique opportunity to take a ride with the classic storybook engine, Thomas the Tank Engine™. Activities include a train ride, storytelling and video viewing, temporary tattoos of Island of Sodor friends, an Imagination Station and the opportunity to meet Sir Topham Hatt. Tickets $18.

On Saturdays and Sundays the Grapevine Vintage Railroad operates regularly scheduled service to the Fort Worth Stockyards.
